Pearle Vision Offers Franchise Fee Discounts to Veterans Through VetFran Membership

New membership and franchise fee discount strengthens our brand’s commitment as a top franchise for veterans

Pearle Vision is proud to announce that we now offer a 20% discount on our franchise fee to honorably discharged U.S. veterans. As part of our efforts to be a top franchise for veterans, we have become members of VetFran, the International Franchise Association’s veterans incentive program, to strengthen our commitment to those who have served our nation.

Making a great franchise for veterans even better

Many veterans have already found success as Pearle Vision Licensed Owners, combining the talents they honed in the military with our systems and support. Gene Krupa of Saint Paul, MN, served four years in the U.S. military, and the leadership skills he developed as a sergeant translated into business success when he became a Licensed Owner.

“I think that military service is great preparation,” says Krupa. “Similar to the way I took care of the people I was in charge of in the military, I also like to take care of my employees. I have a sense of organization, attention to detail, honor and integrity. Those are personal values of mine, and a lot of those I learned while I was in the military. They have greatly impacted the way I do business.”

Bill Noble is another great example of how veterans can thrive through our franchise opportunity. He formed his investment group with a number of fellow military academy graduates, and even at more than 50 stores, Noble and his fellow investors continue to grow.

“If you look at what we do day in and day out, we are leading people and organizing teams to accomplish daily goals and objectives,” says Noble. “Our business is all about leadership. It’s all about selling, motivating employees and building camaraderie and a spirit of service. I love that, and it speaks to a lot of the things I developed in the military, like leadership, drive, commitment, courage and risk-taking.”

As Licensed Owners, veterans can continue to serve their community in a different way by providing access to genuine eye care that can help improve patients’ quality of life.

How our system supports all Licensed Owners

The franchise fee discount helps make it easier for veterans to become Licensed Owners, but it’s the systems and support that have made the Pearle Vision business opportunity so strong for all of our Licensed Owners.

Our turnkey supply chain solution, eyecon, is designed to help streamline operations like inventory management, leaving Licensed Owners with more time to focus on what matters, like working with patients, developing their teams and growing the business.

Information resources are also available to help our Licensed Owners run a more efficient eye care business. We worked with global employment and labor law practice Littler to develop our Franchise Labor and Employment Resource, a searchable web portal that provides access to employment regulations and sample documents.*

“I think there’s so much value with Pearle,” says Krupa. “In my opinion, there is far more support than you would get running independently, and there are so many built-in efficiencies.”
