Own a part of a Pearle Vision business through our partnering program
Optometrists face many hurdles when it comes to owning and operating their own practice, and with Pearle Vision’s OptiPartner program, we’re bridging that gap. OptiPartner matches dedicated optometrists with investors who share their vision, enabling both parties to build a thriving optometry business.
Pearle Vision gives optometry professionals the best of both worlds: more freedom to serve patients, plus the resources, brand recognition, and structure of an industry leader.
The OptiPartner program matches optometrists looking to own their own optometry business with potential investors nationwide. We’re also able to match existing Pearle Vision franchisees who are ready to focus on patient care with investors who will take on the retail side of the business.
Pearle Vision works to pair optometrists and investors who will complement each other in a number of ways:
Once you find a potential match with an investor, optometrists have the opportunity to connect and discuss their potential partnership. These conversations do not obligate you to purchase a Pearle Vision optometry franchise, nor does it mean that you have to partner with that investor. Finding the right fit is the most important part of this process.
The structure of your partnership is entirely up to you. In many cases, the investor will be the majority partner. With that said, there are some states that require the optometrist to be the majority or sole owner. Be sure that you’re meeting whatever is required for your state.
Although some optometrists open independent practices or join someone else’s optometry practice, joining a Pearle Vision franchise opportunity gives you the opportunity to own a piece of your own optometry business with two distinct revenue streams: a retail operation and a medical practice.
Partnering with an investor can help you achieve that goal.
Pearle Vision’s OptiPartner program helps optometrists find like-minded investors who allow you to leverage your skills. With their business acumen, you’ll have the time you need to focus on your practice without neglecting the retail side of your optometry franchise.
Partnerships developed through OptiPartner are eligible for all paths to optometry business ownership:
The franchise process for OptiPartner is no different than it is for solo investors. There are some slight differences to the financial qualifications, however: you and your partner will both be required to have a qualifying credit score and pass a background check, but your net worth and liquidity will be considered as an aggregate.
